Delete Your PitchBuddy Account

Introduction

You can delete your PitchBuddy account and the data associated with your use of the app in two ways: directly inside the PitchBuddy app, or by contacting our support team if you cannot access the app.

This page explains how account deletion works, what data is removed, what may be retained or handled separately, and how to request deletion if you need help.

1. Delete your account in the app

If you can access PitchBuddy, you can delete your account from within the app:

  1. Open PitchBuddy
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Open Settings
  4. Scroll to the Danger Zone
  5. Tap Delete Account
  6. Confirm deletion

After you confirm, the app may ask you to sign in again to verify your identity before the deletion is completed.

Once deletion is finished, you will be signed out and returned to the app's intro screen. Your account access through PitchBuddy will no longer be available.

2. What gets deleted

When you delete your PitchBuddy account, we delete the account data associated with your use of the app, such as:

  • your profile information
  • onboarding details
  • saved pitches
  • practice sessions and history
  • progress and performance data
  • app account access

Deletion is intended to remove your personal account data from active use in the app. Some limited data may take additional time to be removed from backup or internal systems, as described below.

3. What may be retained or handled separately

In some cases, limited information may be retained for a period where required for legal, security, fraud prevention, billing reconciliation, or compliance purposes.

Subscriptions: Deleting your PitchBuddy account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. If you have a paid subscription, you must cancel it separately in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. PitchBuddy cannot cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions on your behalf.

Any retained data will not be used to restore your app access or to continue providing the PitchBuddy service to you after your account has been deleted.

4. Can't access the app?

If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by contacting us at:

Please email us from the address associated with your PitchBuddy account, if possible, so we can verify your request. Include enough information for us to locate your account (for example, the email address you used to sign up).

5. Data retention note

We process account deletion requests within a reasonable timeframe. Some limited data may remain for a short retention period where legally required or technically necessary (for example, security logs or backup systems).

If any data is retained during that period, it will not be used to restore your app access or to continue providing the PitchBuddy service to you.
